Full-Time Teller w/Benefits

Tellers are the face of LRRCU and our connection to the community and we are looking to grow our team by adding an energetic, customer service oriented teller.

Position Description:

  • Provide service to LRRCU customers by conducting appropriate transactions based on the needs of the customer.

FT Compliance & Training Officer

– Compliance – Review credit union policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all related laws and regulations applicable to the credit union. Recommend policy changes that will facilitate the credit union’s compliance program, reduce risk and reflect changes in regulations. Update and disseminate information regarding laws and regulations. Responsible to evaluate processes for effectiveness and efficiency. Maintain high level of confidentiality.

– BSA & OFAC Officer – Responsible for Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) compliance. Develops and maintains relevant policies and procedures. Serves as point of contact for branch and/or department staff in BSA, OFAC and fraud situations. Perform various quality control reviews and monitoring in the area of Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Customer Identification Program compliance using industry standard and regulatory guidance sampling methods to ensure the LRRCU’s compliance efforts are maintained on a daily basis. Advise the CEO of emerging compliance issues and guide LRRCU in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks.

– Privacy Officer – Implement and administer best practices concerning the handling of confidential member information (e.g. Social Security numbers, contact information and credit history).

– Membership Officer – reviews all new and closed accounts regularly. Approves or denies all applications for membership. Approves or denies all applications for other credit union products and services.

– Training – Developing, enhancing and conducting new and existing credit union training programs for credit union staff and management. Ensure that ongoing employee training reflects organizational needs and initiatives, and quality service to members. Lead training sessions in a professional, engaging and interactive manner, exemplifying Core Values.

FT Financial Officer

– Asset Liability Management. – Responsible for a range of activities in Asset/Liability Management. Plays an integral role in building the analytics to clearly portray the net interest income, liquidity, capital and market value profile of the Credit Union. Provides key support in modeling the Credit Union’s balance sheet performance, discerning trends in positions, and developing the financial metrics to drive balance sheet decisions. Advanced knowledge of assumptions and what if reporting. Utilize modeling for research, development and planning.

– Investments – Overall focus of the position is on development, oversight, and support of the delivery of asset management for the Credit Union’s investment activities. Manage the Credit Union’s investment portfolio according to NCUA rules & regulations and internal Investment Policy.

– Cash Management – Develop and manage systems for the effective collection of revenues and payment of obligations. Provide leadership and direction to ensure designated cash processing, reconciliation and reporting functions are completed in a timely manner while in compliance with policy and regulations.

– Supervision of the following personnel and functions:

  • Accounting Clerk
  • Inventory & Records Retention Clerk
  • Collections, Fraud & Loss Prevention
  • EFT, ACH, Share Drafts, Online Services, ODP
